Ajax block for the News module
Hi All,
I recently integrated jquery with the news module to create a new block. The new block makes a Ajax calls using jquery to refresh the news by filtering on the topics available. The block is based on the existing "recent news" block, so I have been able to utilize the code for that block to make development quicker.
This is my first stab at jquery integration so I am sure that there will be future releases with more polished code. Feedback will be appreciated.
Also pecial thanks to Kaotik for his support in developing this.

ICOS 2009 Opens Today (using XOOPS for their Website)
ICOS 2009 (International Conference on Open Source) opens today in Taipei. They expect more than 500 participants.
ICOS speakers include governors, legislators, business representatives, academic researchers, community development workers, non profit organization development representatives.
We are proud that both ICOS 2009 and SLAT (Software Liberty Association of Taiwan) are using XOOPS as their CMS of choice.

WURFL for XOOPS 2.3 (Mobile Computing)
WURFL 1.23
WURFL is a module that will allow theme designers to implement themes customised for Mobile Computing. WURFL is a XML Database that this module will import and allow for propogation of it resources on User Agent based browsing of mobile phones.
WURFL is a world leader in Mobile communication data and this module utilizes WURFL from sourceforge (see. http://wurfl.sourceforge.net).
This module will propogate data on the <{$wurfl}> smarty tag on array depths, you can set which providers you require for data to conversely populate on the source.
This will allow theme designers and module writters to search for data regarding mobile computing and allow for knowledge in the theme of RSS, CSS, Display Size, Image Types, Sound Fontage, and other data such as SMS and MMS.. As well as information about CHTML or XHTML sources.

VidShop 1.52 - Video/Downloads Shop (Simple)
VidShop 1.52
VidShop is a video or binary shop that allow embedded video from external sources like youtube to be associated with binary downloads. The download are normally store in another directory of the .htaccess protected space known as the XOOPS_VAR_PATH.
You will have to create a directory for your binaries off 'xoops_data' as for example /home/ursite/xoops_data/downloads of course you can set this location as you please. The download section is a controlled section that allows for total count and day limited cleaning, that is removal of the purchase items if the download counter is maximized from clickiness.
