I don't know about that language/english/modinfo,php bit. I guess it's in the XOOPS installation you mean, because I can't see any language folder in your folder.

it's looking for your email account login and password. sqMail is a multi-user script
and you could have multiple email accounts.
access to execute sqMail is controlled by Xoops, but even if you give access rights to anybody, only people with a valid email account on your mail server can login (into the sqMail). sqMail does not permit to set up email accounts, it is a CLIENT mail application.

I installed SquirrelMail itself into a seperate directory and it does the same thing. I can't seem to find anything on SquirrelMail's webstie, so I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

Re: sqMail (SquirrelMail module for Xoops) v1.41 releasedWell, I somehow fixed that problem. It's one of those times where I don't really know what I did, but it works. Had something to do with the folders. ??? Oh well. Anyways, new problem. I always move messages I have read to a seperate folder. Now, there's more messages than are viewed on one page, and when I click on a page number or next, it opens in a seperate window and for every message on that page, it says unknown date and unknown subject. If it's not one thing it's another. but that's how we learn.
