do you plan to include an img upload function for events in one of your next releases ? If not, do you think it was a big deal to include such a functionality ?
I'm a php beginner, but i would try to copy it from another module that has it already. Do you have any hints for me on how to do it, e.g. which module you would recommend to copy the code from!
In the first step it would be a great thing if I had the possibilty to upload an img file per event. No user submit needed. It'd fit my needs in displaying only a few own events.
What I'm actually looking for is a calendar/event module, that allows registered users to add events and upload a corresponding img file. A nice to have feature would be the possibility to generate thumbnails out of the original imgages (e.g. by using NetPBM ?), that can be displayed in an event block.
In addition a category/subcategory feature for the events should be included, e.g. to display only the events of a specific region in your country and/or only the events of a specific music genre.
Does anybody know, if such a module exists ?
(I didn't see a img upload feature in the nearer future of the roadmap of ackbars xcal, the phpicalendar module implementation for XOOPS v2. I asked Ackbarr for it and as I've seen, he added the feature to his featurelist for implementing the admin interface.)

Re: TinyEvent v1.0 released!This module is really nice and I installed to my site. I found a couple of points which I need help.
1. Event Time looks confusion. When I register an event, I'll put date and time of the event as usual. For example, if it starts 13:00, I'll put 13:00. By the way I set Time Zone of XOOPS to Tokyo (+9 hours). When I review the evnet as administrator, it is shown as 4:00. If I logout, it is 13:00 correctly. Somethig is wrong.
2. I set "Numbr of Events in Block" to 2, 3 or more, but it is always 1 items to be shown in the block.
3. I'd like to change the color of date in block because the background of my site is black. I just wanted to put "<font color=>" tag in tinyevent_block_next.html. But nothing is changed. Even if I deleted db% db%3Atinyevent_block_next.html file in templates_c directory, nothing happens. But if I modify the 3Atinyevent_block_next.html, it works. I'm very confused.
The language of my site is Japanese. Please let me know if somebody knows something. I appreciate your help.
Re: TinyEvent v1.0 released!Do you have a quick fix for getting the "Number of Events in Block" option to work. I can't show more than one event the tiny event block without editing option field in xoops_newblock table or editing the block script.
Do you have a quick and dirty patch??

Administration > System Admin > Blocks
and edit the TinyEvent block there. You can change the number of events in this place!
In the modules administration it does not work. I have to fix this when I have time ..
