Automated Language Translator for XOOPS 2.3.x, 2.4.x, 2.5.x, 3.0.x, all languages on the google API Supported. X-Transam 1.11 is a translator for XOOPS - it allows for core language files as well as module language file. It will import them off the hosting and write them in the correct XOOPS Location. Supports utf-8, utf-16, utf-32 & Unicode All formats.

Compatible with all Unicode, utf-8, utf-16, uft-32.

Hi mamba, thanks for the question. Functionally everything is the same xtransam as last time, XOOPS Greek support contacted me on facebook to notify me the Google Language translation API required a key for it to function. The only major functional difference is there is now support for people to use either the default api key or set their own.

Also the old bug of having folders within the language folder and it not creating itself is also fixed, that is all..

I have a question to ask!

I must make a copy of the folder, the original language of the system?
e.g: from English to Italian
When I go to import the file: eg: admin.php not display anything.

There is a readme file to understand the module works?

This only works on the server or even locally?

I entered my API code.

from my experience:
1. try to make the same folder structure for translated language as it is in original language, when you have sub-folders as they are in system module. it helps.
2. Its easier to work on localhost, then on the web (its quicker).

otherwise : excellent job done by Wishcraft.

Just an idea:
Could it be possible to use this translation module in input box. When the basic text is writen, its is translated to other(s) languages of the web page with brackets : [en]texten[/enn][de]textde[/de] ?

No you shouldn't have to make a copy of the english folder, it works from that folder to find all the defines in the language area. It should make the folders for you for italian if not just for example with the system module make the italian folder and the subfolder admin and it will work for you.

It will only display something if you do an automated translation, otherwise you have to fill it all in yourself, I suggest to do auto-translation and convert the pigeon translation to real language.

There is no read me file, if you have any question please direct them to the chronolabs forums.

It should work on both depending on the IP address and your access to googles translation API.

Many thanks my friend, the idea of this module was to streamline the translation of function, some of the technology in this module was included in the 2.4.x and 2.5.x series such as the _UNICODE_ boxes and safe array for UNICODE_ARRAY.

So you are looking for an automated system of translating modules and code with regards to text being enter for xLanguage and multisite.. Thats given me another module to write so I will look into it at a point.

These are only warning and will not be addresses, turn down your error reporting in PHP INI to remove them.

There is a minor error in the code on line 116 of /admin/index.php should read:

$wpath = implode(DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR, $path);

I will patch the zip for you.. Please redownload in a few minutes from this post..

I have a list to an array of character encoding in utf-8, it may be of interest, this is better for the translation.

You can add subfolders to a new release?

I mean ... in language exists mail_template subfolder, and in system module language folder, exists subfolders: admin, help, and image, for files .php and .html

You can add more than php, the extension html and tpl?
