This is a small module to scan your server folders for missing index.html files. If missing you can create.

The module obviously does not have a place in the frontpage main menu, but can only be accessed through administration as admin.

The module is testet with FF, Opera, and IE8 and checks out fine with all.

if i'm not mistaken its to prevent people from accessing our folders in our server..

thanks for this module..

maybe this can be integrate with core

It is to prevent people to see the content of server folders. In most cases the server denies people from use directy listings on your server but not all servers block these and this is why index files are important.

The idea of this module is to only create index files where no other index.php, index.html, index.htm file exists, as some servers for instance prefers html files over php files this could be a problem if both are present, but so far I havent experienced any problems with this.

Thanks you Voltan. The Persian language has been added to the downloadfile.

Since I have had no conserns or any reported errors after testing I have descided to release the official 1.0 version :)

A language define was just corrected thanks to CJ.

In language/modinfo.php is missing a define

define("_MI_INDEXSCAN_CREATEINDEX", "Create index files");

The error is corrected and update + sourgeforge is updated :)
