Themes: 4 Community Theme (APH002)

4 Community theme has 3 columns and it was tested on XOOPS 2.3 final using modules such as Planet, News, Webshow, Yogurt for compatibility check.

It contains 4 different styles where each style represents a color, default color is Blue, although with a minimum of coding it can be set to whatever color you like (from those available).
Theme is free to use and redistribute

Although i would appreciate if you leave my link in the footer, you are free to remove it

how do i get it to alternate between skin colors?
i see the 4 color bars on the top right but when i click them
they do nothing
they only link to index.php#

also it says it was tested with Yogurt for compatibility but i am looking at the blue one with yogurt
and it seems its not pulling the BACKGROUND color
i just see the blue backgroud all the way under the theme page
i do see white where the block titles are
but not even in the center colums of yogurt

Indeed Then this is a fake! lol

tested on IE7, Firefox, Safari, Opera ...Mac and Windows ...as for IE6 well tuff!

As for the little buttons top-right they do work

Will the color stick, i.e. if I select red today, and login again tomorrow, will the red be saved as my preference, or will I have to select it again?

@Mamba, yes it will.

Nice job aph3x, really like these ones, good choice of colors. However you might want to consider renaming the style cookie as it will conflict with the cookie from iTheme from which the style switcher originates...anyone who has viewed both themes will have one or both broken causing the preference not to save. You'll find the cookie name set in styleswitcher.js.

I won't reconsider the use of any element i have chosen for the theme, and its rather stupid to say that script originates from iTheme as it doesn't ..well unless the creator of that theme wrote the script, while in fact script can be found on dyn-web.com in the package of a font sizer hence this is where both theme's script originates from. But if you open the dw_cookie.js in a regular text editor you will see that yourself, but hey feel free to assume whatever you want

I'm not trying to take any credit away from you. I'm aware of where the script comes from, perhaps that was a bad choice of words, I didn't mean it as literally as it was taken. I'm also aware of how it works as I've used it in one of my own themes. My point isn't who authored the script...what I'm saying is that it's not the best idea to have two themes, both compatible with xoops, both using the same cookie with different values that would break either theme if both were used -- renaming it to something unique would give your theme maximum compatibility and wouldn't interfere with current or future themes. I think the one in iTheme should be renamed to be more specific to that theme in particular as well. That's all I'm saying. Maximize compatibility between themes.

Great Theme, Brilliant for social sites like mine.

Now I have a couple of issues which you maybe able to help with,

First Blocks don't display correctly, i.e if you make it center left it may become center right,

The other issue I have is to do with one Block Social Network Latest Pictures.

I have it on the front page, and when I use the top color change button the center alignment goes sort of:

instead of the vertical line it was

**** etc.

any thoughts?
