you get the theme for free, what is so wrong with asking people to register. yeah it's an inconvenience to some people and takes more time going through the registration process, but hell, the theme designer has spent time developing it, the least you can do is register and say thanks for the great FREE theme. it also allows the designer to track how many people have downloaded the theme more easily, and prevents automatic downloading which uses up bandwidth. also it improves their ranking in search engines.
swings and roundabouts, you want it for free, at least do something in return and register.
some people can be so selfish. it's not like he asked for people to post 20 times before they could download.

(sorry but i was always raised and had drilled into me, and my job is the same: Never Assume Anything!)
the person downloading the theme is probably using xoops, but that doesn't mean the person designing the theme is.
i do tech support for Windows and data network support maintenance etc, but i don't use windows myself, neither do i use the networking equipment that i maintain, i use cisco personally.
