I am happy to announce the release of the first stable release of the EFQ Directory module! I want to express my thanks to everyone who helped testing this module. A demo of this module is available at: http://demo.efqdirectory.com Already planning is in progress for version 1.1 with new features and extra image sets provided by Sumyog. If you want to see a feature added to this module please add your feature request to the Feature requests forum or you can request features using the Request features page Download : Here

I have used this module and also planning to use it on a lot of sites. Really a very great module!! customized listing is something which I am sure gonna help a lot of people. and unlike other modules this module has very minimal branding/no branding at all and hence is great to use on sites.

I would definitely suggest everybody to use it.

I tested the latest version and seems to works great. Noticed the URL feature is implemented, this feature works on my my development machine with mysql 5 with php5. But seems not to save data at this field when I click save on my hosting which only provides mysql 4. with also use php5. What could be the cause.

I am deciding whether to use mxdirectory or efqdirectory. It seems that efqdirectory is aligning itself with ????? so I am wondering if it will still be maintained for XOOPS community? Does anyone have any ideas/information on this?

Wait a minute!
I can understand that efq-team would rely more on other cms branch but what about mxdirectory? It is still supported by it's developer?
Between efqdirectory and mxdirectory, for me, efq seems to be more advanced and more recent....

There are some great things about efq but I have a couple of issues:
1. When a user is adding a listing is it possible to make them pay for the listing for a duration and then after that duration the listing is demoted back to a normal listing (from lets say a platinum/gold)?.
2. Call to undefined method efqSubscription::durationPriceArray

Anyone with a similar problem?

Errors with XOOPS 2.3 final.

- efqdirtectory does not save the URL address when added after the first items is added.
- It does not allow images to be aded after the item has been added.

The beauty of efqdirectory is that it allows you to create your own fields, data types, categories, search function built into the mod, I call it a flexible module. There is potential in this module.

But let face it the developer needs funding. I would say lets fund him. But on the other hand people like to see things completed before they can make the decision of granting funds.

I would say the developer should complete the project then try to make money. Maybe he can have a demo site if he does not want to post his code right away. just a taught.
