In the Frameworks instructions, this line is included under the INSTALLATION section:

Quote:

Upload /class/xoopseditor to your XOOPS/class/ (need to download separately)

Is this file included or where can I find it? Thanks in advance!!!

Very nice integration with the tags module.

I am unable to view the article though. I get a blank page no errors and no apache errors.

I am running XOOPS 2.0.15.
MySQL 4.1.12
PHP 4.3.9

Same here. Just spent some time trying to make sure it's not because of my local sandbox not being able to resolve friendly URLs or something, but however I configure, no article view.

Xoops 2.2.4
PHP 5.1.6 (but the same when switching to 4.x)
MySQL 5.0.24
Tried with upgrade from .96, but also with a fresh install.

Can't wait to see it working, and for the tag clouds to expand all over my site.

Those are the framework files I've been using. Version 2.11 it says in the art folder. I would like to be able to give you more detail, but I'm just getting a blank page, with no errors or nothing.

Also, there's one

too much in article_inc_sponsor.html (templates), and _MI_CONFIGCAT_ARTI and _MI_CONFIGCAT_MODU aren't defined in the language files. I guess they just changed there names. I think they were called _ARTICLE and _MODULE before. These two are a little trivial for a bug report, I believe.

Thank you for all your work. It looks great, and I can't wait to get it to work.

*Edit* Finally, when I hit "submit" and then change the editor in "Select Editor", the green disclaimer disappears and I get to the same xoopsform with the selected editor, but with an open
which breaks my tableless design. Hard to explain. But I guess it's here:

Should be

If I'm not mistaken, that's your clear fix. Don't know which template, but I'm sure you can find it quickly.

I was using 2.10. I upgraded 2.11 and still get a blank page when trying to view article.

I just found this error in the apache log file.Quote:

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getkeywords() in /xxxxxxx/modules/article/view.article.php on line 188, referer: http://xxxxxxx/modules/article/view.list.php

Tobias, thanks for confirming the error in article_inc_sponsor.html

For article edit form, I think it is caused by something wrong in your editors. and I can not find any

stuff in article edit pages

_MI_CONFIGCAT_ARTI and _MI_CONFIGCAT_MODU aren't defined is caused by some improper limit upon XoopsConfig title length, more of a XOOPS Core issue.

Wardick, it's weird. Can you do some step debug? like
1 disable do_keywords in module preference
2 or check /modules/article/class/keywords, is it complete? is the function KeywordsHandler::getKeywords there?

I am unable to view an article no debug info is generated.

I have tried this on three different servers with two different host companies. The results are consistent.

I have done these things but I still get a blank page.

action.article.php, line 637 is:
echo "clear">";

but should be:
echo "clear">
";

Took me a while as well to figure that out with the escaped quotes. My quote above was from generated source. Sorry for the confusion.

I also still don't get articles to display, everything else basically seems to work. I can't find any related php errors or warnings in my apache log, in particular not the one thrown by a lacking getKeyword function. I've also tried with the entire do_keywords thing commented out, and it didn't change anything. Still white, and no article nor errors. I don't think the problem is with the keywords.

Plus, my investigations re blank page when trying to view an article: It's in the transfer bar.

Frameworks\transfer\bar.transfer.php. If I comment out line 26:

$op_options = $transfer_handler->getList();

I can see the articles just fine, only without the transfer bar, of course. So, it aborts while trying to get the API list, I guess.

*Edit* I think I've pinned it down to the blog plugin in the Framework/transfer folder. Once I throw that out, I can see the articles with the transfer bar populated with all the other options. PDF creation dies without an error, though. Talking about Framework version 2.11, the one I've downloaded yesterday.

I tried your suggestion on removing the blog folder and I was able to view the articles. Being curious I replaced the blog folder and I could still see the article!!

... Until I set the forum in the preferences then again I was not able to view the articles. I reset the forum preference back to none but could still not see the articles.

... Repeating the process I removed the blog folder and uploaded it again.

I can now see the articles again???

Keywords do work. Tags work.

That's because it's being chached. Empty the cache folder (or transfer_article file inside it), and throw the blog folder back into the mix, and you'll be where you were at the outset: Not seeing anything.

True, sorry. Sometimes hard to know where precisely to report bugs. This, it turns out, would have been for the Frameworks. Cool you found the culprit. Tiny little bugger, big effect. Perhaps somebody can clean up this discussion once everything's fixed.

Btw.: Anyone got pdf creation to work? Wondering whether it's a bug or my server configuration.

thank you guys!

My friend got blank page while viewing an article. It took me hours to find out that the language file was broken when he made his own UTF-8 (Chinese).

I couldn't believe it was also a language file problem that caused the blank page for you.

Perhaps we need the MD5 checksum not only for XOOPS Core but also for XOOPS modules :)
