I've released version 1.07 of the chess module. The module allows users to play chess games against each other.

Primary additions in this version are player ratings, a "My Games" page, and filters for selecting types of games to display.

The module can be downloaded from the project page. Please use the project page forum for any support questions. Please read the file modules/chess/docs/INSTALL.TXT before installing or upgrading.

Thanks for all your hard work! This is first class chess module that i've used in the past on some older sites. I will give this new version a go around. You rock man!

this is a really nice module! congratulations and thanks it would be great though if it used what they now call AJAX to show things faster...no idea how that would be done and I guess its not easy (I'm not a programmer) but it would be a great addition to an already great module.

Feature requests should be posted on the project page's Feature Requests tracker. (The project page is linked in the announcement above).

But I plan on turning future development over to someone else, and don't expect to be adding any new features myself.

i've translated "chess 1.0.7" language's files, in french.
i think that all is right.
can i send it to you ?

A demo is avalaible here for "chess 1.0.7" on XOOPS 2.0.13.2

it works on my account but table is gray...can't see the white squares. Gre8 project...congratulations man!!!

Excellent module, my users really like it! keep up the great work!

If I may suggest for a related project, a Texas hold 'em or/and blackjack module ppl can play vs other members as well?
