DokuWiki for XOOPS 1.0 is released.

DokuWiki for XOOPS is a XOOPS module based on DokuWiki, using DokuWiki syntax and XOOPS group permissions

DokuWiki is a standards compliant, simple to use Wiki, mainly aimed at creating documentation of any kind. It is targeted at developer teams, workgroups and small companies. It has a simple but powerful syntax which makes sure the datafiles remain readable outside the Wiki and eases the creation of structured texts.

Thanks for releasing this to the Community D.J. side by side tests show this wiki to be very powerful compared to many others.

A great addition to the XOOPS authoring collection.

downloading this file from xoops.cn took over 1/2 an hour on DSL!!! could you copy the D/L to xoopsforge please?

It is the first time for public release.
If you were talking about its test version, it is quite different.

@speed, it is note direct cloneable but you just need modify one file: include/search.php

It is only for XOOPS 2.2+,as indicated in file name: x22_mod_....

Nice module. I have only this little problem with language. All accented characters display weirdly, and if I use the á way, it displays directly, not as an accented character.

This is an example:

start.txt · Ãšltima modificaciÃ³n: 2005/8/18 16:35:50

Debería decir:

start.txt · Última modificación: 2005/8/18 16:35:50

What should I change?

EDIT: Never mind. I just changed in my XOOPS site, in file /language/spanish/global.php the line

define('_CHARSET', 'ISO-8859-1');

to

define('_CHARSET', 'utf-8');

Im haveing a few errors.

datadir does not exist or isn't writable. Check config!
olddir does not exist or isn't writable. Check config!
changelog does not exist or isn't writable. Check config!

I posted over on phppp site but no answer yet.

Im stumped at the moment.

This is the message you should see in the admin index. Readme states

2 English users: upload files and folders under /uploads-english/ to your xoops/uploads/ and make them 0666 or writable

Yep i've done that carnuke still doesn't work. I also updated the module in Modules Administration after I did that.

Here is the info...

But when I do that it just says...

Not created but the files are there and with correct permissions? Hum

Mmm, yes, start again maybe. I have also had some problems with this module. When I click the 'edit this page ' button all I get Is

Likewise full permissions are granted. to files and folders, but I can never see the editing form.

Doku works fine when chmod to 777 or 755 but 666 nada just the error above. So how safe is this?
path uploads/dokuwiki chmod to 755?

My dokuWiki install is working fine. For permissions I used 775 for directories and 664 for files.

The entire XOOPS install is owned by a normal user but the group is for the web server, which in my case is "nobody".

In a case like this, you need 775 on the uploads/dokuwiki directory so the web server can write to it. If you use 755, the web server can execute/search it and read it but not write to it.

Bonjour,

J'ai le message d'erreur suivant lorsque j'éssaie d'accéder à l'index de l'administration de dokuwiki:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/.sites/50/site125/web/modules/dokuwiki/admin/index.php on line 35

Et le code source montre:

 include 'admin_header.php'; 
require_once( XOOPS_ROOT_PATH.'/modules/'.$xoopsModule->getVar("dirname").'/conf/local.php' ); 
xoops_cp_header(); 
$xTheme->loadModuleAdminMenu(0);

Il semble donc qu'il y ai un problème de thèmes. Comme je débute sous XOOPS je ne comprends pas encore tout car pour mon site j'ai des templates et non des thèmes... J'ai découvert que la variable xTheme devais être instanciée dans common.php, avec 2 ou trois autres lignes de code la concernant, or je n'ai rien trouvé...

je suis donc en train d'installer dokuwiki 1.0 sur XOOPS 2.0.13.2 et j'ai rencontré un problème avec le fichier local.php lequel utilise XoopsLocal::convert_encoding alors qu'il n'est null part définit...

j'ai réussi à récupérer le code d'implémentation de la classe XoopsLocal et je l'ai collé en tête de mon fichier local.php. j'utilise la localisation anglaise...

Je fais remarquer aussi que le lien http://xoopsforge.com/modules/wordpress/17 ne fonctionne pas...
