TFmedia has just launched a new XOOPS powered site, TechWire.ca, a newswire, news release, and event listing site. The site uses hacked News, piCal modules.

Looks good, doesn't look like a typical default XOOPS site.

Only suggestion I have is remove the login block. Or at least put the main menu above it. I personally prefer a small login link instead. For example:
