YAXS: XOOPS Reduces Development Time Dramatically

I created a new video games site using xoops!

It updates the front page blocks dynamically with data from the users. So if a new video game comes out, and someone searches for it on the site, it will automatically appear on the front page if its new.

The video game data is kept fresh automatically using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Using XOOPS2 I created this site in a matter of days.
XOOPS helped me to concentrate on the core applications for the site instead of having to worry about how I will build the user database this week. ;)

I'm looking for feedback about the site.

Hi Lavaburst,

When you say you use AWS, do you mean you used some of these programs to construct a module:

Amazon

or did you rather install Xooperstore:

Worldware Xooperstore

Please elaborate as the site looks great, probably something many XOOPS users could run for whatever their site's specialty.

I'm writing a XOOPS2 module for Amazon Web Services. It's at a point where I can use it on any of my sites, but the admin still needs more work before others can use it effectively. I also still need to finish the blocks and making it work in USA, UK, DE, and JP and a few other clean-up things.

I wish I could finish it, but I'm tied up looking for work! Know anyone that needs some advanced web design?

Cool. Web services rocks.

I know someone who is a seller on behalf of many vendors on ebay. He'd like a way for his vendors to manage and track their sales lodged through his ebay account. He's involved in fulfillment of the order. auctioblox sell website accounts that hook in with a free module for OScommerce. data goes from ebay > auctionblox.com > oscommerce installation.
