Hi! Few days ago I created my new portal with the best CMS: Xoops!!! All of you are invited to visit my web: http://www.absolutweb.tk . I´ll waiting for your opinions...
May I just add again, I was only joking about the 'powerd by', I just found it amusing, thats all and also the theme mark.
Powered by OSCAR.GP <--- never heard of this CMS before

What? personally, I take it as an insult to xoops. Anything but the stupid front page. You can do better than that if you really appreciate xoops.
Re: New Xoops Portal
Thank you for your opinions. It's my first website so I think I haven´t a bad work. I´m trying to fix all mistakes that I found. How is your recomended website editor? Now I´m using "crimson editor" and it´s free. I´ll like to change "" for another web editor,how? I know that dreamweaver is a better web editor than FrontPage but I couldn´t find it in spanish.Anybody nows how can i find it? And a serial for it? Thanks
Re: New Xoops Portal
meta generator is defined in the theme.html file, it should stay as in the default way no matter what editor you are using, unless you chnage it intentionally.
default

Its definitely a XOOPS site.
Its sad when a core team memeber doesn't recognize their own work.
LOL!!!

Nvu is Open, Free and WYSIWYG. But there's no Spanish version yet.
Re: New Xoops Portal
site = good
frontpage = bad
Nice job on the theme, I like it a lot
Re: New Xoops Portal
Nice theme.
Shame it's Lycos hosted though, I HATE the Lycos popups. If you want a good free host, try http://www.chromehost.com , but don't worry about the space/bandwidth limits. They will increase those on request. And you can get away with a banner ad at the bottom of your site. (I do, anyhow)
Re: New Xoops Portal
Looks quite nice - except that the left block column is very wide in my Mozilla 1.6
