Modules: TinyContent v1.5 is available

Again a new version of TinyContent. So what are the new features?

Changelog:
- Printer friendly page
- Send2friend
- In wysiwyg mode, TinyContent detects the browser and automatically switches to the Xoops Editor if you aren't using IE 5.5 or above
- Bug fixed when disabling smilies
- code cleaning

The new version is available in the modules section on this site. If you were using TinyContent v1.4, simply overwrite the files and update the module!

I don't know about language files, though - I think you are missing some definitions 4 there (Printer Friendly page, Send-a-friend, This page comes from, and The URL of the website). I already added these defs; I just wanted to let you know about it...

I updated the spanish language in this package. If somebody else has updated language files for TinyContent feel free to contact me!

By the way, many people were downloading TinyContent, but no Feedback anywhere. So i think the module works quite well, no?

Thanks for this new Iinycontent that I use cause I like it very much;

I have tried this new version, all is working for me except the pages dialogs, for example : cells properties :I can't choose baseline ou left or right etc... the css et images are not shown...

can you explain me if this fact is my own please, or is it a little bug, please?

There was a bug with the cell properties in TinyContent 1.4, but this was fixed with the release of 1.5. Maybe you are still using v1.4?

Chapi...

Is there a way to turn OFF the send/print icons/links (preferably on an item-by-item basis)? They're a great feature, but not something I want on every content block. I didn't see anything on the admin menus or at the content item level that would allow me to do so.

A great module overall, though!

You could edit the template of TinyContent in the templates manager to delete these icons.

But this will affect ALL contents.

I know I can do that -- it'd sure be nice to be able to do it selectively for particular content elements and not others.

very nice module, clean and usefull,
Just some feature...

+ The check box "Disable Linebreak Conversion (Activate when using HTML) " is not maintained between 2 edit.

+ If you modified the ID of each item, to order it, this is not reflected in the main menu.

And a change request:
+ Disable the Send2friend and print link for each item will be very appreciated.

Yes, the order is currently only for the TinyContent navigation block! Maybe I should reflect this changes for the main menu too.

For the change request: You are the second user that requires this change. If there were more users that want to have this feature, I will think about that. But not at the moment, because I have to change the database to integrate this feature.

"The disable linebreak" ...
Simple to reproduce (on my desk)
in the tiny admin,
Create a new content
Write som html code in the content
check the flag "disable linebreak"
Save it.
Everything is ok, the look is good, etc
In the DB (mysql), the nobreak field is set to 1.
If i try to edit again this new content, the form doesn't reflect the content of the DB (the checkmark for disable... is not set), thus i suppose that your "getting code" is not correct.

FYI: my test environment is based on easyphp 1.7

In admin/index.php Line 324
Replace
$breaks_checkbox = new XoopsFormCheckBox('', 'nobreaks', 0);
with
$breaks_checkbox = new XoopsFormCheckBox('', 'nobreaks', $nobreaks);

And it work perfectly (as I like)

In order to get the main menu order to reflect the changes to the sort that you made on the admin screen (i.e. so that you can sort them in a different way than the order that you entered them), you just need to change 1 line.

In the /tinycontent/xoops_version.php file you need to change line 64 from:

$result = $xoopsDB->query("SELECT storyid, title, homepage, submenu FROM ".$xoopsDB->prefix("tinycontent")." WHERE homepage='0' AND submenu='1'");

to:

$result = $xoopsDB->query("SELECT storyid, title, blockid, homepage, submenu FROM ".$xoopsDB->prefix("tinycontent")." WHERE homepage='0' AND submenu='1' ORDER BY blockid");

Anyone having probs with the wysiwyg editor, as far as the color picker popup? Mine opens up initially just fine then resizes itself so small i can't make out the colors...It does this on multiple sites I manage. I was thinking it's a browser issue? [IE 6 & 2.0.5.2]

In TinyContent When I hit the insert image buttion I get a pop-up which has a drop down for image librays and a list of what I assume would be images? But all the fields are blank. Where are these libraries? ie what folder in my site is TinyContent looking at? or this a site wide thing I should be setting?

I read the Tiny Content miniguide, but I cannot figure out how to include smarty tags within the content. Embedding a tag such as {X_SITEURL} within the html does not seem to work. Does tinycontent support smarty tags, and, if so, how do you use them?

I try and post new content and nothing appears?!?
All the html code is there that I want to appear in there.

Also, is there a way to have the background colour the same as my XOOPS theme default? I dont really fancy trawling through pages of code everytime I add some new content just to find the colour.

Same problem here. Using 1.5 and XOOPS 2.0.7, modules installed: news, newbb, xcgal, mydownloads, mylinks, marquee, xoopspoll, xoopspartners, contact, agenda-x. Theme; CyberGlass. I've re-installed this module several times and it doesn't work...
