Re: Two-Factor Authentication for Xoops

Thank you for your suggestion!

XOOPS 2.6.0 will have improved login security.

In the future, please:

a) open a thread here for your request
b) submit the requests to XOOPS Sourceforge, and include a URL link to this thread here

This way we can keep a better track of requests.

Re: Two-Factor Authentication for Xoops

Since this thread is already here... Can you give a brief mention of what you mean by a two factor authentication? If added it would be a 2.6 version addition and there are many updates still to come with 2.6.

Re: Two-Factor Authentication for Xoops

Two-Factor Authentication is that you must have a Mobile Phone to login.
It comes a SMS mesage when you want to log in.

Re: Two-Factor Authentication for Xoops

I am currently working on updating the email system in 2.6 and my next project is cleaning up the authentication system and hopefully making it easy to add new systems so assuming I am successful it will be possible to add something like this.
