Where I can find a directory script?

Hello everyone, I'm new to programming in php, and would like to help me on something

Where I can find a php script directory that I keep a picture and text and of course I generate a link .

a friend told me that this script is here, but where?

You can download and install XOOPS, and then install a "News" module.
