What kind of upgrade path is planned for this? Will it be similar to the 2.5.5 from its immediately prior version?

Although many hosts will be continuing php 5.3.x for awhile, it will be nice for that compatibility to be there when the do upgrade.

I will be responsible for this core persian release.
I will try to do it ASAP.
One suggestion:
it is better to release one upgrade package for all upgrade purposes ( from any older version to 2.5.6). many upgrade packages just bring more issues.

a suggestion:
In 2.5.6 you change captcha mode from image to text. It is very good for persian community

But now it seems 10 attempts is too much for solving a 2+3= ? math captcha. i suggest to reduce it to 3 too.
