News module keeps changing title of main news page with newest news topic

Everytime I add new news to my site, it changes the title of the main news page that lists news topics.

News module is slashdot-like.

News module is set to home page.http://mainecarry.com/

very annoying for FB linking or SEO.

anyone know the line to edit so it uses xoops website title i have set?

In the head of your theme you find a line similar to this one:
<title><{$xoops_sitename}> - <{$xoops_pagetitle}></title>
I guess removing the <{$xoops_pagetitle}> tag will remove the article titles. In case you still want to use page titles in other pages you could use the module defacer to have a separate theme with <{$xoops_pagetitle}> stripped for index only.
