HI. I have encountered this error after we renewed our hosting. Our website was down for a few days as we missed out the hosting renewal but after renewing it we have this problem on our website.

I have to told them to restore it from the latest backup hoping that it would solve the problem but it didn't.

The error was:

Fatal error: Class 'XoopsErrorHandler' not found in /home/winsing/public_html/class/database/databasefactory.php on line 30

Thank you.

it seems you miss some files please do a file integrity check.

I've run into a similar error.

Our website is www.sfbaka.net and it's been stable for many years.
Just recently, we are getting this error message:

*Fatal error*: Class 'XoopsErrorHandler' not found in*/home/sfbaka/public_html/class/database/databasefactory.php*on line*30*

We're on Xoops 2.0.13
cpsrvd 11.38.2.17
MySQL version 5.0.96
php version: 4.0.5

We didn't experience any hosting outage as far as I know. I can still login to the cpanel on our site and our gnu mailing list is working just fine, so the bug seems to be specific to the xoops package.

Any tips to fix this would be much appreciated (and we are working on upgrading

Thanks.

Can you verify that your PHP is still 4.0.5? Sounds like your PHP was upgraded on you without your knowledge. It is hard to believe that ANY hosting company would still be using a PHP as old as 4.x with the security issues and such that go along with it.

I am not familiar with the 2.0 code base to offer much help but we can start with finding out what version of PHP you truly have.

You're right, Rodney.

I used phpinfo() and found that my PHP version is 5.3.28

I had misquoted earlier.

So this is what my PHPAdmin shows:

Database server

Server: Localhost via UNIX socket
Server type: MySQL
Server version: 5.0.96-community-log - MySQL Community Edition (GPL)
Protocol version: 10
User: [redacted]
Server charset: UTF-8 Unicode (utf8)

Web server

cpsrvd 11.38.2.17
Database client version: libmysql - 5.0.96
PHP extension: mysql Documentation

phpMyAdmin

Version information: 4.0.5, latest stable version: 4.1.7
