Re: Presentation "OOP Adventures with XOOPS"

The New Category button should be a new table?

It 's mistake or do you think it's better this way?

It could be "New Category Table".

It was to show the difference between the two tables:

- normal table
- category table, with "Parent ID" field, where you can create a "Tree" structure

Re: Presentation "OOP Adventures with XOOPS"

In the construction of the module you saved directly in the root folder of modules, or you have copied and pasted the folder test1?

Re: Presentation "OOP Adventures with XOOPS"

In the demo, I did copy myself.

But we need to do it this way in the module - TDMCreate should generate the new module in the main /modules directory, and after the generation, when it shows all the "green OK check marks", it should show a button: "Install the new module", so I can install and run the new module right away.

Re: Presentation "OOP Adventures with XOOPS"

it is great Mamba.
I dont have much to say.
IMO choosing the TDMCreate for this presentation was good.
Im not familiar with TDMCreate at all but it seems it is not stable yet.
btw creating simple modules are easy enough for everybody in xoops even without TDMCreate and it seems using TDMCreate make it even easier.
