It is an old modul (2004) and not really running with the new version. Maybe it crash by php4/php5.
I want to use it, but in actual...
Is it possible to update it?
My php is only a little bit...

What exact module do you mean, is it AnimalPedigree?

Don´t really know, i only have animal.
By the way (after 10 xoops installation) i think i have a version with run on it.
The newest version will not show any menu, version 2.3.3 is after install only "to look" (i can log in, but no admin-menu will shown) and version 2.3.1 looks good ...
For example, on this site this site the modul is running, it was written by James Cotton in 2004. And really - in face of the age of this modul - you can´t find another which can do the same without pay much hundret Euros ...

I Think there are a lot of securty mistakes, so it would be great to update it.

This is the AnimalPedigree module indeed. For what I know James Cotton has stopped development, but has made the code public.

A few month ago a Dutch guy posted a similar question on nlxoops.nl He updated xoops and after that the module had some problems. He was also looking for a coder to update the module and wanted to pay for that. If you wish I can send you his email address. It may be he found a coder already, if not you two could join in finding one.

it would be nice to get the email adress!
By searching in the internet I saw a lot of questions who ask for something (or special) for this modul.
