We can test existing modules to give the feedback to the Core Team about all potential issues, but let's not invest too much time into updating too many modules, as you might have to do it again, if there are major changes in the Core.
The XOOPS 2.6.0 is not yet even in the Alpha release, so there might be a lot of changes coming.
It is better to focus on the Core, provide suggestions, code snippets that could work - with the focus on simplifying and streamlining the Core, so we can improve performance, while maintaining compatibility with modules.
