Banner not working

I am having difficulty installing a flash banner on my website.
When i try to open it in preview in a browser (IE8 or mozilla) it works well but when I publish my website the banner is blank.

Can anyone help me

Maybe the banner is located on your local PC or private server, to which the "published" version has no access?

Also check:

* If Activate Banners is set to yes in General Settings.
* <{$xoops_banner}> is in your theme.
