Hello again,

I have one question about the Registration procedure.

I want to allow only specific persons to register on my site, but too many to make accounts for them by myself. I want the user to go through a registration procedure, that will be waiting for my personal approval for completion, after I verify the identity of the user.

Can this be accomplished?

Thank you.
Dan

In Admin's Preferences/User Info Settings:

modules/system/admin.php?fct=preferences&op=show&confcat_id=2

in the category: "Select activation type of newly registered users" select "Activation by Administrator"

Great, thank you.

Just shows that I still haven't fiddled enough with the software itself just yet.

If you were inviting people to register by email for example, you could dissuade other site visitors from attempting to register by hiding the login block on the homepage.

You could then just use http://www.example.com/user.php to log into the site and provide that link to your membership.

Alternatively, you could remove the 'register now' link from the login block template.
