Xoops.org top header

hi'

There is a problem with Xoops.org login form, located on the top of the page. It is an old problem with jGrowl, I had the same with one theme.

May be a solution here too ?

www/xoops.css
/* jGrowl redirection */
div.jGrowl {padding1em/*z-index: 9999*/z-index9998;}
body div.jGrowl.top-right {right25%; left25%; /*top: 2px*/top30px;}

www/xoops.org/themes/wox/css/home.css
div#xtHeader {

backgroundurl(../images/bghead.pngno-repeat top;

height106px;

width950px;

margin0 auto;
/* Addition */
positionrelative;
z-index9999;
}

... to test

Re: Xoops.org top header

hi'

1. Click on Login link
2. Enter your Username and password
3. Click on Login link
4. Close Jgrowl tooltip (or wait until it close by itself)
5. Try to click on Logout link or to enter a keyword into search field
--> you can't (Firefox and Opera tested)

... it is the same when you post on forum and you want to logout / to use search field. Because of JGrowl z-index : even it is hidden, div is still here with z-index: 9999;

(sorry for poor english)

Re: Xoops.org top header

OK, I tested with Opera (I normally don't use Opera), and I see the problem.

However, your solution didn't fix it (or maybe introduced a new problem) - the yellow headline became invisible.

I guess, we'll have to look deeper into it, unless we use something different than jGrowl.

For the time being, the easiest way is to refresh the page, and then the logout link should accessible again.

Re: Xoops.org top header

Thanks Mamba for tests. And sorry for time lost.

Your solution is good, but for some other themes (it depends on top header location / Jgrowl position) it may causes real troubles. In this case, try to play to with z-index: 9999;
