I am running eXtGallery 1.1 on Xoops 2.5.1

Is there some coding-work-around to place a 'Public Upload' LINK inside the main body of text inside the actual gallery itself?
Currently, Public Upload is only available from the main navigational menu, and is easily missed. Especially when the main focus is spent clicking on images, albums and categories INSIDE the Gallery area - It seems strange that this one other feature (the upload link) is placed away from the Gallery and diluted inside the main navigation menus.

Couple of options:

- place a block with the link above the the Gallery, and set it so it shows only when extGallery is open

- change the template and add a link there

I have instead uninstalled eXtGallery and INstalled myAlbum-P which has the upload button in the correct place.
