I just installed Xoops 2.5.1a to my webhost and all went well. Even installed X-Forum just fine.

Thing is we could really do with allowing spaces in the usernames. However, when people try this they get told its an invalid username and changing "Select the level of strictness for username filtering" has no effect.

I have tried Google-fu but found nothing recent.
