While installing Xoops 2.5.1 (clean) I recieve the following error message:

Could not copy the distribution file to mainfile.php/data/secure.dist.php

I am using IIS7 on windows 2008 R2.

I have done the following to solve this issue:
-> Removed Read Only attribute on all xoops folders.
-> Made myself 'Owner' of all the xoops folders (and its sub-folders).
-> IUSER full control on xoops_lib, xoops_data and mainfile.php
-> In the IIS Admin also full control xoops virtual directory.

Any help is highly appreciated to get this running on Windows 2008 R2.

Hello,

I have solved this one by selecting another user for anonymous access. The new user is an admin user. So that solves any access problems.
