Help with extcal 2.22 Upcoming Events Block

How do i disable the extcal block upcoming events to display past events ?

right now it shows past event such as new years day, valentines day etc

i don't know if im doing this right...heres what i did

I inserted a new event: New Year Day : 1-1-2011

In the recurring event section i put it recurring yearly January 1st for 5 years

the problem is right now when i activated the extcal upcoming events block...it display the new year day entry 1-1-2011

its the month of may right now supposedly it would not now show the event as it is not upcoming

if i don't insert it as recurring event it will not be display on the block

Help.....Im using extcal 2.22 & xoops 2.5.1

This is a known bug with recurring events.
