Mailer problem

I am having one heck of a time trying to get xoops 2.4.5 to send users who register, an email to activate their account. I found some other posts but their issues were slightly different or not solved.

When they register it says the email has been sent but it never gets there. Im using Godaddy as my host and their webmail, can anyone help? I dont get any errors, and non showup in debug!

No one knows? Is there more information I need to include? Someone has to know what's going on!

You need to look at your server logs and see if something isnt right.

Assuming you have your mail information correct it should just work.

If you just use the standard mail you should be fine unless your server doesn't have it setup.

The other thing is if you send out too many emails at the same time they might think you are trying to be a spam mailer.

It may be an issue with your hosting company if you have it setup in your system right.

Have you tried to send yourself email from the system?

Yes I tried sending myself an email from my site, It works fine for me!

When I select sendmail is when it happens, but any other selection I get an error! So I have been trying it with sendmail. I havent check Logs, what should I look for in logs? I do see any errors or anything.

Im the webmaster on the site, I sent myself an activation email and works perfect!

Could it be only with specific email providers like yahoo, gmail, ect?
