Dear forum-users,

After i installed the shoutbox module i came across something weird. Usually when you shout a weblink the link should open in a new window or tab. However, in my shoutbox the link doesn't do that. Instead, it opens the link inside the shoutbox frame.

Is there anybody familiar with this problem and knows a solution?

I tested to post a link in the shoutbox on my site and the link opens in a new window.

I'm using ver. 5. Maybe you are not using the latest version?

In a thread on the Dutch Xoops site I found out Technicum uses a very old shoutbox module. It's not affiliated to the more recent module made by Tank.

My advice to him is to drop his module and try the one from Tank or try the tad-cbox modulehttp://tad.tnc.edu.tw/modules/tad_uploader/index.php?of_cat_sn=55
