I have a news website and I would like to offer to other websites a kind of script that they will insert on their own site and this script picks up the latest news from my website. I use Publisher by the way.

Any ideas!!!!

its all in arab and I cannot understand the language.

This is what I want to achieve......

Will create an iframe, script, etc., some sort of code, to be put in other websites so they will see a news ticker sliding from left to right with the latest news I put on my website and once they click on the headline on their website, it will take them to my website to read that particular article.

click on Resized Image or use http://translate.google.com/

After download newsbar_v2.zip, unzip it then upload backendjs.php and backendjs.txt to root folder of your xoops and newsbar.gif to /images folder. chmod backendjs.txt with 666.

Finally, Add this code in any dynamic or static web page:

le="color: #000000"><?php <script type="text/javascript" src="http://WWW.YOURSITENAME.COM/backendjs.php"></script>


you can modify backendjs.php file to use it with smartsection or publisher.

You may also try with http://www.hscripts.com/scripts/jsp/licensed/news-update.php.. This tool shows you the newly updated links or the scrolling text.. You can modify the text properties with the help of property files..
