I see where others have had this issue with other versions. I just spend 8 hours uploading all files and I get, No XOOPS installation could be found in the specified folder.

I don't know what to do I called the server group they said check with you.

Looks like a great script. Can someone help.

The mainfile.php has this:
if (! defined('XOOPS_INSTALL')) {
header('Location: install/index.php');
I installed it to the root folder.

Install can see Xoops_data and xoops_lib folders.

I ran the checksum and all file are installed.

Do I need to edit the mainfile.php and the mainfile.dist.php file to make it work?

have you tried install it in local server eg xampp

do you have the same problem in local server ?
