Hi,
Can anyone point me in the right direction for disabling/removing the admin bar at the bottom of the page of this theme.

Activate / desactivate it in xotpl/xo_thm_parameters.html (last option, baradmin)


Edit : solution above is for morphogenesis template. In your case, you have to edit theme.html. Delete :
<{if $xoops_isadmin}>
    <{includeq file="$theme_name/xo_footerstatic.html"}>
    <{/if}>
