What is the working content modile for 2.4.1

I have Mastop Pubblishing installed, it works but I am having issues trying to use a cloned template in preference (it keeps referencing a smarty error in mastop as stopping the use of the cloned template. No response from the module owners has forced me to try another conternt module but "Content Module" does not function properly as it does not save the content to display on page(it's blank). So I need something to replace both or get either fixed. Any fixes or new module to take their place.
Everything installed is the newest versions.

the content module updated by kerkrya works perfectly fine with XOOPS 2.4.1

the updated ( by kekrya )content module is NOT working for me. It may be that I have other issues that I am not aware of but for now I can write content but it does not save it or display it.

I will try Burnings suggestion and see what happens.

Yea! Burning's Content module worked. Which also solved my other problem. I have removed Mastop_Publishing ( this module would not allow me to run the site from a cloned template base. I hated running a site from the default templates.). I now can put static content and it saves to the database. I have cloned the default templates and the site is functioning off the clone.
