Renaming Modules Folder in 2.33

I have been trying to rename the modules folder in xoops2.33, i replaced all the /modules/ and /modules' but couldnt complete the installation it got stuck (blank page) at the install modules step. any body know how i can get past this?

I found the issue. i hadnt renamed all folders named modules. that cleared the issue.
