Hi!
I'm an old Hungarian writer, making the homepage of a community of translators poetry. I installed XOOPS 2.3.3, but several modules (such as PM, news, userpage, profile, AMS)are not work.
I copied all the folders and files correctly into the /modules directory of my website. Then logged in as administrator, went to System Admin > Modules, look for the modules
icon... but I can't see it in the list of uninstalled modules... What's the mistace? What to do?
Can somebody help me? This is my first homepage with Xoops.

XOOPS Version - XOOPS 2.3.3
PHP Version - 4.4.4
MySQL Version - 5.0.22
Server API Version - apache2handler
OS Version - Linux
safe_mode - Off
Theme: light-green
Modules appiere in adminlist: System, AMS 2.51, Content 1.1, dummy 0.1
Modules NOT WORKING(I tried a lot): Private Message modul 2.3.0, Profile 2.3.0, Userpage 1.4, Pages 1.16, MP Manager 2.63, News 1.63, etc.

Hiya Zoltan and welcome to Xoops,

The system Module will not be in the list of un-installed modules. this Module cannot be un-installed or de-activated.

This sound like a cache issue, we have had a lot of issues regarding this over the last few days.

Would it be possible for me to have a look at your admin area within your website and I will see if I can get this working for you?

PM me regarding this k.
