can someone confirm this..i tried in my local machine and this problem still exist

but the status of this bug is set as fixed in svn .....thanks

i think user should be redirect to custom block section automatically

suggestion: in default show all blocks in the first page of block
admin..not just system blocks to avoid confusion

This happens to any block. I think that if I'm editing a 'news' block, then I should be redirected to the 'news' blocks section.

The system should remember all settings(module, groups, visibility, etc) to redirect the user to where he was before.

Yes this is a bug, I noticed this last night when I was adding expire block functionality. I will add a fix for this.

2.3.3 final is about to be releasd...may i know if this has been fixed ? or do we have to wait 2.3.4 ?

edit modules/system/admin/blocksadmin/blocksadmin.php line 323, replace with this:
redirect_header('admin.php?fct=blocksadmin&selgen=0&t='.time(),1,_AM_DBUPDATED);


See if it works for you pls.

thank you trabis

its working..BUT only when you create a new custom block you are redirected to the custom block page..

but when i tried to edit/rename/clone a custom block i'm redirected back to the system block page..

its the same when you dealing with modules blocks
