I make changes to the css and/or html files but the change does not reflect even if I set the option to yes in the preference of xoops.

Can anyone help me on that please ?

You must clear cache

a. if you use 2.0x

delete contents of clear templates_c except index.html

b. if you use 2.3x

delete contents of xoops_data/caches/smarty_compile/ or smarty_cache except index.html

Hello,

It didn't work.

I am using version 2.0.18.

Do you another idea ?

I just found out that I have these errors messages;

Warning: fopen(/xosecure/modules/protector/configs/configcacheb6e665) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in file /xosecure/modules/protector/class/protector.php line 134
Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in file /xosecure/modules/protector/class/protector.php line 135
Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in file /xosecure/modules/protector/class/protector.php line 136

Even if I disable the protector module.

hi,

as in regard to the css, if you have edited lets say .head { or .th { make sure to apply those changes to every css file you've got in your theme folder, every css file containing it. Then just clear the templates_c folder. Mind that if you have some users on doing something on your website stuff is being added to the templates_c folder and the changes may not be done. Try to turn your website off for a minute and clear the templates_c folder. That's just from my experience.
