Is XOOPS Right For My Project?

My client wants me to build a database that lets registered members download articles. Can I do this with XOOPS? If so, can I integrate the database with PayPal? My main concern is to make sure only paid members can access the articles in the database. If XOOPS can't do this does anyone know of another tool that can?

For the paypal access - sounds like you need the Subsciption Module .... but I don't know if it works with latest version of XOOPS (dig a bit about it).

About an articles modules - you'll simply have to choose your favorite one - you'll find some great ones around ...
