problem viewing non english site firefox 3.0

i have use ff 3.0 for quite some time but just notice this..all this while ok..

i can see strange char when viewing non english site...example this one XOOPS peak (japanese site)

anyone know how to fix this ?

i uninstalled and reinstall same problem

tried to search google.. but nothing comes up..maybe i use the wrong search terms ?

in my ie...its normal

There are probably issues with the UTF-8 characters.

Try to experiment with this menu from FF:

View - Character encoding

and see if you have Auto-Detect.

You can also switch directly between UTF-8 and Western encoding.
