I have been testing the PHPMotion Media Sharing Script http://www.phpmotion.comand I like its functionality. You can have your own video sharing site, ability to upload and manage your own video and audio. It converts most types of videos to flash after it uploads. It has various modules and a large community as well. Try it at http://www.hengout.tv

I believe this will be a good module for Xoops.

Can any of our developers at the community pick this up for development? Bringing this scipt to XOOPS will help in making XOOPS CMS much stronger, more useful and hard to resist. I suggest similar approad to integration for scipts like Word Press or LifeType scripts and create some blocks leave the scripts admin area intact. The thing here it to have a user sign in using his XOOPS account as has been done with other scripts.

The good things is that you do not need a Virtual Host or Dedicated server, well if you will not have a large video site. It works with FFMPEG and all the other related open source media encoders, etc. I installed in a shared hosting.

Anyone wants to get started here?
