Hi!

A little question... I have to do a site with multiple language contents...
so, if you want to change from english to spanish, or french, you can read the contents in your language...

in the backend each document will have all the languages inside... or some way to logically "link" several documents, and do not have orphaned documents and broken links one year later, etc... ?

Can this be done using xoops?

any idea?

Hi,

you have options of:

1) Module: xLanguage. most recent version 3.01;

2) Hack: Multilanguage from Smart Factory (http://smartfactory.ca/library.item.8/learn-more-about-xoops-multilanguages.html);

3) Hack: EMLH from GiJoe (http://xoops.peak.ne.jp/md/mydownloads/singlefile.php?lid=50&cid=2).

Third party module will do.

I suggest The Easiest Multi-Language Hack (EMLH) for XOOPS 2.

(PS. cubeUtils (for XOOPS Cube Legacy) will be the best solution for XOOPS Multi-language future.)

i'd suggest you to use xlanguage. it's an easy to use module

Im trying the same thing... have a site im my native and english with a way to select languages... but tbh i can't figure out how the xlanguage works... si there any documentation available in english?
