you could check the file \wfdownloads\language\english\modinfo.php
Search for line 00157:
define('_MI_WFD_GLOBAL_NEWFILE_NOTIFYSBJ', '[{X_SITENAME}] {X_MODULE} auto-notify : New file');
(should be line 157 most likely - since there were different versions of 2.05 in the old days it might slightly differ)
You can try to use
{FILE_NAME}
for placing the filename.
However i have no installation currently at hand so i can´t really check myself. I hope the variable is actually filled with the filename at that point in time.
If it doesn´t work you could post also on the
wf-downloads forum.
[Edit]Any special reason why you did not update to wf-downloads 3.x yet? Some issues, features and security fixes were done over time.
