User booted after login

I need help. My system will allow a user to login, then upon making an attempt to access an area that requires the user to be logged in, the user is logged out. I Know I have seen this information before. However, I can't find it, any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

what XOOPS version are you using ?

I don't know if this works but try to empty the session table of your database

Tick the 'youurdbprefix_session' table, which, if it is the cause will say 'in use'. Scroll down to the bottom and there a little drop down menu. Click it, and select 'Empty' and OK. I am using version 2.0.18.1. I just upgraded hoping that would fix the problem.
