Which modules? Where is this line present? Give us some examples for it...
Support XOOPS => DONATE
Use 2.5.11 | Docs | Modules | Bugs

I'm at a loss to know what this refers too, too.

For eg. If I go to the Job module (jobs_2.1), I see a line on the admin section of the module:
Support this software
Read my opinion

The line Support this Software has a link to http://www.jlmzone.com/modules/xdonations/index.php

How do I remove these two lines.

It's a link to the developer's site inviting for a donation to help support his ongoing work. Lots of modules do this or, at least, have a link to the developer's site. It is not compulsory to donate.

Many modules have a link to the developer's site openly visible to all viewers but you say that this link is only visible in the admin side. If so then, why are you bothered by it? Is it too much to ask to leave it there bearing in mind that the developer has made the module available for free but could have incurred costs in doing so.... server space rental, etc?

Please check the licence to see if you are permitted to remove it before doing so and respect the module author's wishes in this regard. Who knows, in times to come you may develop a module of your own and be in the same position

Thanks for the feedback.

The web site which has this module is for someone based in US, and he does not want that to be displayed.

If you want you can remove it, it won't bother me, but if you are going to use jobs 2.1 that would bother me. Jobs 2.1 has a reported security problem in it, Use Jobs 3.0 RC2 for now.

I am not planning to upgrade at present.

How do I remove this or change the font and the size of the text.
