1&1 hosting - I get locked out after opening multiple XOOPS webpages

When I log in to my XOOPs site, my IP address becomes locked out of my website. I can't even FTP into it. When I browse the website anonymously, I don't have a problem.

This is obviously a problem with the 1&1 server however, I am having trouble getting someone technical enough to help me with this (at the hosting company).

Anyone else have this problem? Have you been able to fix it or find a workaround?
