Hi, need to create htm pages for my XOOPS site. Is there a module for XOOPS to do so? Here is what I need: want to create a htm page for link exchange, so it would be available at http://www.myxoopssite.com/link.htm for example and have all the blocks and design like my index.php have. How is it possible? Thanks you.

1) Go to the index.php page http:// your site dot whatever / index.php

2) Do a save file as - from the browser file menu selecting Web page complete as type

3) name the file whatever you want when you upload it online. (because the save file as, whole webpage will save your images in a folder by the same name_files)

4) you now have the template ... upload the file and the folder to your desired place. Then adjust as you wish.

I do that with my index.html a lot of the times.

Example: http://xoops-end-user.com/index.html
Same as http://www.xoops.net.br/index.php

Yet there is a flaw in doing it BS's way.

your menu, blocks will never be uptodate if and when you change them in the site, youll have to edit each and every html page you make.

The flaw is offset by the fact you never have the dreaded white page for your customer and you can better trouble shoot your site if you have a php failure.

Static html pages for the html literate is a good thing.

Try Gijoe Pico's module.
Check 'wrap' and 'rewrite url' options
You can also define permissions by group
even by user

Damaster is right. You can use gijoes pico module and obtain some very nice url's on an apache server.

Thanks for the help guys. I tried everything but Gijoe Pico's module yet. I guess I'll just save the index.php html code and change it as I want. About link modules like mylinks. The problem is when you do link exchange and if it's controlled by some script, it says that the reciprocal link has not been added, i think there's something about redirection or something. Like when you add you link to the Xoops.org link category and you see it on the screen, try to check the HTML code of the page and you'll see that it's not there. The main link page PR is 7 like they want to share it for free huh =)Although I may be wrong.
