I'm using webshow

The video files (.flv) are stored on someone else's server and I'm accessing them (with permission) but I don't really want them to know how often the videos are viewed from my site.

So my question is can they know this? According to my thinking they can't because we're not downloading a page from their server only a flash file - but am I wrong?

Thanks for any help!

Their log files will record your ip/domain name each time the file is accessed.

Ah yeh! Thanks tcnet

But keeping check of all actual number of downloads made from my site would not be easy right?
